Dental Implants
「For long-term bite stability and anti-ageing of bones」
In present-day implant treatment, it is vital to have a pre-operative CBCT (Cone Beam CT) diagnosis.
Our clinic has introduced a dental CBCT machine with low radiation exposure and super -high resolution, manufactured by KaVo of Germany.
The area to be photographed can be selected depending on need, while the radiation is emitted not continuously but as a pulse beam, enabling this machine to offer the lowest radiation exposure of any CBCT made by any company.
Furthermore, the high-resolution image processing enables more accurate data to be collected on such aspects as nerve pathways, nerve diameters, bone density, bone thickness and circumference, and cross sections, angles and volume of adjoining bones. This enables an accurate diagnosis.
We draw up treatment plans in minute detail, so that ultimately we can offer implant treatments with a view to creating a long-term stable bite balance.

※The choice when implants or surgical treatment are not possible or not wanted.
By contrast with partial fillings provided on insurance, we do not use sprung metal clasps attached to the teeth, but the following two types of filling that bond directly to the teeth.
-
Resilience telescope
This is a denture aimed at people who want to avoid removing their remaining teeth and keep using them for as long as possible. It can be used in cases when only a few teeth remain – up to three – even when those teeth are in poor condition. Instead of the remaining teeth supporting the denture, this denture is supported by the mucous membrane, so it is possible for even the base teeth (the supporting teeth) to be implants. There is also no need to remove it when you go to bed.
-
Riegel telescope
This is a denture whose most important feature is that it has a dual-layer structure with internal and external crowns, and uses no springs, so it feels and looks as natural as possible. There is a small locking mechanism in the denture, which is inserted or removed by locking or unlocking this mechanism. It fits snugly into your mouth, and can grind down food strongly and stably without being displaced. A specialist telescope technician makes these individually for each patient, and because they are extremely precise and require high-level skills, they are expensive and take time, but this type of denture offers very high long-term stability, with protection of your remaining teeth. They offer excellent value if you take a longer-term perspective.
-
Advantages of
telescope denture treatment- Because there are no visible metal parts attached to your teeth, most people will not realise you are wearing dentures.
- There is no need to remove them when you got to bed; they become a part of you.
- They do not come off when you are eating.
- They are also effective for patients with periodontal disease (because the teeth are held in place by the denture).
- They allow you to retain your existing teeth as far as possible.
- Even if your oral environment changes over time, if you maintain them properly you can use them for a long time.
-
Disadvantages of
telescope denture treatment- Tooth filing is required (because almost all your teeth are used).
- It takes time to complete (because 150+ hours of technical work is needed).
- Where teeth are used whose nerve has been removed, the tooth can break from the root.
- Because there is a dual-layer covering to the tooth, this thickens it to some extent. Particularly with front teeth they can feel bigger, and this can have a negative effect on the look.
※Exact treatment costs will be determined individually after undertaking the necessary detailed examination and diagnoses.
